AoH: Talim Swyftglide

History: He's from a clan/pride of gryphons [I haven't settled on the proper terminology..... not like he knows the term to say in english anyway lol] that's from an area that humans don't usually go. In the fairly distant past, his kind was hunted for trophies pelts, etc, thus the move to such a desolate location. This also hasn't been forgotten or forgiven, so he's been brought up knowing how dangerous/violent/etc humans are. Unfortunately, more humans have been encroaching on the hunting grounds, but it's still a relatively small number. They're trying to figure out whether it would be safe to remain there, relocate as in the past, or fight back if the humans have weakened or gotten lazy.

The clan decided it would be prudent to re-examine the humans, to see if they're still bigoted and violent to the outside races. It would be wrong to just go on the stereotype after so much time. So they looked for volunteers for those who would be willing enough to try to learn about them. That's where Talim volunteered, and so did a few others. As hehad no solidified ranking or placement as an adult in the clan, but showed competence in his abilities and some open mindedness, he was picked. Prior to leaving, he received help in having most of his gryphon form to help him blend in with the humans. As he was wandering and learning, he heard of the academy and how a mixed lot attended, he figured it'd be the best example to see how much humans have changed and if any prejudices towards other species have persisted into this setting.
